Red Rock Noodle Bar management and staff send out their condolences to all those
communities and businesses affected by the floods. The Brisbane based noodle
bar chain also felt the impact of the flood waters, inundating their Goodna store and
cutting power to their Yeronga store.
Managing Director of Red Rock Noodle Bar, Phil Colburn, regrets to advise customers that
their Goodna store at St Ives Shopping Centre will be closed until further assessments of
the damage can be undertaken. Their Yeronga store, although without power for 5 days,
is now open.
“The suburb of Goodna was severely affected by these floods. Our store at St Ives
Shopping Centre was inundated, with water almost reaching the ceiling. It will be some
time before we really know the future of this store. We will keep our customers aware of
updates.” he said.
“We had no power at our Yeronga store for 5 days, but with some exceptional service from
our suppliers we have been able to restock the store and reopen the doors to our
customers. We have been thankful for everyone involved in this process.”
“The continuing issue for our stores will be consistent supply of fresh vegetables that form
the basis of all our 97% fat free noodle dishes. Rocklea markets have just reopened and
we will do our best to bring you our complete menu. Some stores may be without certain
fresh vegetables in short term.”
“On a positive note, our Indooroopilly store has launched a range of fresh Sushi. Come on
in and try some today.”
We hope with the amazing generosity of our fellow Australians and typical Queensland
spirit that we continue to help and support those in need as everyone gets back on their
feet as quickly as possible”
